Shrubs as a botanical structural form
Shrubs are something very nice to have in your back yard. You can even use shrubs to build yourself a natural fence. These fences usually look great, provide great protection for it is really hard to get over or through them and make your yard look more “wild”. You may even plant shrubs in your garden that make fruit so during the hot summer days you can delight yourself with a few blueberries or other such fruit. But what do we know about shrubs as they are in the wild? These small trees have been granted the term of botanical structural form for a specific reason.
When you talk about shrubs as a botanical structural form you must not think about a real structural form. Shrubs do not create structures and the term does not refer to fences or other things like this either. When you talk about shrubs as a botanical structural form you must know that it refers to how many shrubs grow in a single location and how tall they are. For the ones between two and eight meters we can find a dense cover of shrubs. This category is often granted to the scrublands that occupy up to 100% of the land. Such a land is often referred as to a closed scrub land. After the dense scrubland we have the mid, sparse and almost empty scrub lands. The categorization works the same for the smaller shrubs. But don’t think that you may pass through a dense scrubland of small shrubs. It is nearly impossible to get through such a land. It is basically like fighting with windmills.
Shrubs had to be categorized in a botanical structural form because you can find them all over the world. In some places they inhabit the land, almost infesting it whereas in other you can barely see a shrub. This is why they had to
